"My husband and I have always like to buy art from up and coming artists. When Elizabeth said she was starting to paint, I was keen to see what genre would be her speciality. I was delighted to see the different types of paintings that Elizabeth could turn her hand to. She has a good eye and feel for what she paints. It was exciting when Elizabeth agreed to paint a seascape for us. We got together and decided on the size of the painting and whether it would be an oil or watercolour. Once that was agreed Elizabeth showed me a colour palette which we discussed and appropriate colours were chosen.

We are more than delighted with the finished painting and have proudly hung it in our home."

"I commissioned a piece from Elizabeth as an anniversary gift for my parents, and the entire experience was fantastic from start to finish. I had a specific request - to create something that would complement a piece of her work they already owned, and she understood the vision perfectly. The process was smooth and well-organised, with clear communication throughout. I was kept updated at each stage, which made me feel confident that everything was on track and in good hands. Most importantly, my parents absolutely loved it. It meant a lot to be able to give them something so personal.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Elizabeth to anyone looking for a meaningful, high-quality commission."

"Elizabeth’s paintings are skilled and always beautiful, so it was no surprise to find her recent Japanese themed art work translating so, so well onto fabric. Having seen her stunning kimonos exhibited, I just had to have one! The texture of the fabric is lush, the print design intricate and unique, and the cut …. well it’s so very flattering as it drapes and flows just bringing the design to life.

It feels special to own such creative and visually rich, distinctive, wearable art. I love, love it!"

Ayrshire Hospice

"Elizabeth brought to life the spirit of the magnolia tree at the Ayrshire Hospice when she completed a piece for our contemplation space. Her long heritage as a volunteer at the Hospice on the Board meant she was perfectly placed to really understand the meaning behind the room and the sacred space it represents.

The artist brief was to bring colour, vibrancy yet a sense of peace to remember one of the most beautiful trees that stood in our grounds for many years producing endless flowers. This painting seems to feel as if it has hung for many years in this special room and Elizabeth has captured the essence of the brief and created a wonderful painting.

Elizabeth is a thoughtful strong female advocate for palliative and end of life care, and this painting so beautifully represents her own spirit and that of the work we do. The Hospice is grateful for this inspirational piece."

"I first met Elizabeth online - ominous but let me explain! It was 2020 and a very good mutual friend and professional artist Gillan Park started up an online Facebook group for folks that had an interest in art. Our online chats covered all sorts including a book I was reading “House by the Loch”, set in Loch Doon . I have fond memories of that area as a favourite Aunt was from there and I discovered so was Elizabeth. We realised that my Aunt had helped out at Elizabeth’s Dad’s Sunday School (he was the local Minister) and later he had married her and my Uncle. I asked Elizabeth to do a commission for me to gift to my Aunt and thought the connection between them was lovely. Elizabeth agreed and this was, I believe, her first commission She painted lovely blue anemones. Since then, I’ve met Elizabeth often and she has certainly gone on from strength to strength and has definitely found her own lovely Oriental style . And at a quite recent exhibition, I could not resist a beautiful piece for my cousin who is more like a sister and who had spent over 20 years in Singapore and had a both 70th birthday and Golden Wedding Anniversary and this was the perfect gift.

I always love to see what Elizabeth has been producing and meeting up through our love of art."
