The Divine 9 Collective
I started 2026 with a bang in West Kilbride’s Barony Centre, a former church transformed into one of Scotland’s most striking arts venues. As part of the Divine 9 Collective, a creative programme and exhibition led by my mentor Gillian Park, we lit up the venue for four weeks with an exhibition like no other, where visitors experienced a truly interactive and welcoming environment and where creativity was something shared, explored and enjoyed by all.
My collection “Hana Reimagined” included original paintings, a wall hanging and origami work created in collaboration with James Duncan of @paperjaorigami. My luxurious one-of-a-kind velvet kimono style jackets which I designed from my artwork have proved so popular that I’m now working on commissions and I’m aiming to expand my collection during this year with a further range of bespoke pieces of wearable art.
Recent Highlights
2025 began on a high note with the conclusion of The Ayrshire Collective, an exhibition and creative programme led by Gillian Park, showcasing six emerging artists. Hosted at the Harbour Arts Centre, the show ran for four weeks and was a huge success - I was thrilled to sell all but one piece of my collection “Oriental Peace”.
And my creative year 2025 ended with my return to Studio 44 Gallery, Largs this time as part of “Capturing the Moment”, a group of five Ayrshire artists. Our three week exhibition was very successful and I enjoyed some super pre-Christmas sales from my “Minerals” collection.
You can find my work on display in Gallery 2, John Finnie Street, Kilmarnock and throughout the year at a number of local venues including the North Ayrshire Open Art and Exhibition, Kilwinning and Save the Children Ayrshire Exhibition, Ayr. Look out for updates on my social media.
